With Hydractive 3, Citroën gives a further demonstration of its commitment to progress in running gear technology.




Combining state-of-the-art electronics with a totally new and simplified approach to hydraulics architecture, the Hydractive 3 suspension system offers superlative comfort, safety and performance.


 



This new suspension comprises:
  • four carrier elements with suspension spheres featuring new technology for exceptional durability;
  • front and rear stiffness regulators with their sphere on the V6, 2.2 HDi, 2.0 HPi and 2.0i 16V;
  • electric height sensors linked to the anti-roll bars;
  • a simplified hydraulic network.

No maintenance for five years or 200,000 km

The new synthetic hydraulic fluid reduces friction and so brings further improvements in comfort. Moreover, thanks to its innovative design, Hydractive 3 requires no maintenance for five years or 200,000 km. Throughout this period, the suspension system continues to offer consistent excellence in comfort and safety.
