A reference in the compact MPV segment

The arrival of the Xsara Picasso in the Citroën range was a milestone in the creative renewal of the Marque. The Xsara Picasso has remained immensely popular since its launch in January 2000.

Distinctive styling

Resembling a single-volume vehicle at the front, with the continuous line of windscreen and bonnet, and a hatchback saloon at the rear, with its raked rear window, the Xsara Picasso boasts distinctive styling that sets it apart in the segment of compact people-carriers.

The high-spec Exclusive trim boasts a specially designed air intake and chrome detail on the bumpers, providing an additional note of prestige.

The Xsara Picasso looks after all its occupants. Passenger comfort has always been one of its key assets. The Xsara Picasso is 4.27 m long, 1.63 m high and 1.75 m wide with a 2.76 m wheelbase. It is sized to offer five real seats and a vast boot with a capacity of 550 dm3 under the parcel shelf.

With its roomy interior, flat floor pan and central walkway, as well as three identically sized rear seats and modular design, the Xsara Picasso is designed to make life onboard enjoyable for all the occupants.

It also features generous stowage space including, on the Exclusive version, two closed compartments on top of the dashboard. This model is also fitted with a rear window blind and a boot net as standard.

In terms of active safety, the Xsara Picasso is equipped as standard with a speed limiter, cruise control, ABS, traction control and automatic illumination of hazard warning lights as standard, and can be fitted with ESP, emergency braking assistance (EBA) and traction control.

From the first level of trim, the Xsara Picasso is fitted with two front airbags and two side airbags protecting the head and chest, as well as an Isofix system for anchoring child seats to the rear side seats.
